JERRY JIA
NYC-Toronto based Producer & Lighting Designer
Jerry is a Canadian theatremaker living in New York City, currently completing a B.A. in Lighting Design, Theatre, and Social Sciences with a minor in producing at NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Studies and Tisch School of The Arts.
His work as a lighting designer is all about revealing the humanity of characters and representing the emotive elements of theatre through a visual medium. His work spans a range of mediums from plays, to musicals, dance, performance art, fashion, exhibitions, concerts, and more.
As a Producer and theatre-maker, he is committed to producing works that portray stories of underrepresented peoples and cultures in our society.
